Cardno’s proven track record in civil engineering and landscape architecture design for more than 40 autoparts stores across the U.S. positioned us strongly to help O’Reilly’s Automotive to successfully expand into the Central Florida market.

With over 5,000 stores in 47 states, O'Reilly Automotive, Inc. has grown to become one of the largest specialty retailers of automotive aftermarket parts, tools, supplies, equipment and accessories in the United States.

For the company’s expansion into the Central Florida market, Cardno provided civil engineering and landscape architecture design plans, which included a 388,000 sqft distribution center located in Lakeland.

Based upon conceptual site plans prepared by O’Reilly’s architect, Cardno designed plans depicting the location of a 7,000 sqft metal building, as well as parking improvements, utility connections, and drainage systems.

Our team brought a depth of experience gained from completing similar projects ranging in complexity for more than 40 successful autoparts stores. Some projects required detailed land use packages to gain site plan approval, and Cardno successfully navigated many city and county ordinances and permitting processes while working throughout the entire state.

The key services we provided to O’Reilly Automotive included:
