Project managing large-scale disaster restoration programs always poses a unique set of challenges, including operating in large, often remote geographical locations to tight timeframes, understanding the Queensland Reconstruction Authority’s (QRA) complex DRFA / National Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA) guidelines and approval processes as well as identifying and mitigating the various scopes of risk for each project.
To overcome these issues, we developed a purpose-built, handheld tablet system to manage the large volumes of project data required for NDRRA restorations, allowing us to store, analyse, amend and add construction data in the field. Most notably, our bespoke, mobile NDRRA data management system can be synced with other data formats, including that used by the QRA.

Since 2008, Cardno has been the trusted lead consultant on numerous DRFA / NDRRA programs across Queensland, working closely with State and Local Governments in disaster affected areas. Our commitment to quality service delivered by our locally-based teams has enhanced our reputation for delivering complex projects of the highest quality, on time and budget.
