Jo Buldeski and Patrick Lamb appointed to Cardno’s Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Council
Cardno is pleased to announce two new appointments to its Inclusion, Diversity and Equity (I,D&E) Council.
The new appointments are Jo Buldeski, Senior Consultant & Manager, Impact & Safeguards Advisory, Cardno International Development Physical Infrastructure and Patrick Lamb, Senior Engineer, Cardno Asia Pacific who will take their positions on the Council effective immediately.
Cardno’s I,D&E Council empowers employees to bring about cultural change and social equity both internally and externally.
The new appointments will bring diverse perspectives, experiences and feedback from their peers.
As an International Development practitioner, Jo Buldeski, has experience in implementing strategies which support and enhance equity, inclusion, and social justice in developing nations around the world.
“I’ve always felt that Cardno’s values largely mirror my own, but it means a lot to me to see a real and tangible commitment to this inclusion, diversity and equity journey,” said Jo.
“I’m really proud to have been invited to participate and I’m super excited to contribute to Cardno’s implementation of inclusion and equity principles throughout the business. I’m also looking forward to learning from the wide range of experiences and expertise of those colleagues already on the Council,” she said.
Patrick hopes his experience as a person with disability will provide a useful insight to the council.
“I'm particularly interested in issues related to disability and I think the commitment Cardno has made to inclusion, diversity, and equality is great and I am excited to be part of the Council. Hopefully, we can identify and remove the barriers that would prevent Cardno employees living with a disability from achieving their full potential,” says Patrick.
A warm welcome and congratulations to both Jo and Patrick on their council appointments.
