Jim Keenan webinar on safety procedures for thermal runaway incidents on 24 January
On Wednesday 24 January 2018 Dr. Jim Keenan, PhD, MS, DABT, will present a webinar titled Developing Safety Procedures for Thermal Runaway Incidents.
The webinar will cover the inherent risks associated with lithium ion thermal runaway and include a discussion on the danger of burns to workers as well as potential smoke inhalation. Dr. Keenan will address lithium ion batteries, thermal runaway and its causes, chemicals released during the process, examples of Cardno ChemRisk thermal runaway risk assessments, and safety suggestions.
The webinar takes place Wednesday 24 January 2018 at 11 a.m. PST / 2 p.m. EST. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions.
