Environmental impact expert Jennifer Barringer joins Cardno's Houston office
Cardno announces that Jennifer Barringer has joined the firm as Senior Consultant in the company’s Houston, TX, USA office. Jennifer brings more than 35 years of leadership experience in due diligence, environmental permitting, environmental litigation support, and environmental and social impact assessments.
Jennifer is an accomplished health, safety, and environmental (HSE) professional with experience in the implementation of HSE management systems and broad permitting and compliance support. She has provided environmental management for oil and gas operations in sensitive environments around the world, including the Russian Arctic and rainforests in South America. Jennifer has managed the HSE aspects of the entire life cycle of oil and gas projects from business development through exploration, production, and decommissioning.
“Jennifer has a broad and diverse range of experience on environmental projects within the oil and gas and energy industries,” said Cardno Vice President, Natural Resources Area Manager Luke De Hayr. “Her permitting and regulatory compliance experience in a variety of terrains and environments will be a real asset to our clients around the country.”
Jennifer is actively involved with several professional organizations, including the Women’s Energy Network, the Society of Petroleum Engineers, and the Texas Association of Environmental Professionals. She also volunteers with the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and the Wildlife Center of Texas.
