Congratulations John Farrugia, winner of the Cardno Founders’ Talented People Scholarship
The Cardno Founders' Talented People Scholarship is named in honor of our founders, Gerry Cardno and Harrold Davies. Just like our Founders did 75 years ago, John has used his talent to build new skills and knowledge. He believes in lifelong learning. Winning the Cardno Founders’ Talented People Scholarship means that John can continue this learning, breaking down barriers, getting to know and working with broader teams at Cardno.
John is the Strategic Engagement and Partnership Manager for our International Development Division, based in Melbourne, Australia.
His winning idea, to increase employee engagement by introducing an inclusion and diversity dashboard shows his commitment to inclusion, diversity and equity – it is something that will be of benefit to all Cardno employees.
As part of winning the scholarship, John will have the opportunity to participate in a professional development program and attend a Cardno Leadership Conference.
Congratulations also to Project Accountant, Kasey Lake who was the scholarship runner up. Kasey was awarded $3,000 toward her professional development.
The Cardno Founder’s Talented People Scholarship is just one of the scholarships that offers Cardno employees the chance to apply thinking to topics outside of their everyday job and see those ideas come to life throughout the business.
