Cardno's Paul Jones receives appointment to National Oil & Gas Transportation Infrastructure subcommittee

Cardno is pleased to announce that Paul Jones has received an appointment as a member of the National Petroleum Council’s Oil & Gas Transportation Infrastructure Study Coordinating Subcommittee.

The committee was formed at the request of the U.S. Secretary of Energy to analyze the changing dynamics and future needs of United States oil and natural gas line transportation infrastructure, existing and future constraints, and technology and policy options to improve siting and permitting.

Paul is a Principal within Cardno, where he serves as Program Manager for the company’s Cultural Resources business. He has nearly 30 years of cultural resource management experience in the eastern United States, where his project management experience includes work with multiple federal departments and agencies and representatives of many Native American Tribal Organizations.

As part of the subcommittee, Paul will offer his cultural resource expertise and guidance to the subcommittee’s discussion as it relates to oil and gas operations, including pipeline support, agency consultation, landholder and other stakeholder needs, and additional considerations.

“We’re honored Paul has been asked to share his project experience as the cultural resources expert for this significant subcommittee,” said Luke De Hayr, Cardno Vice President, Natural Resources Area Manager. “He’ll serve as an excellent representative of Cardno as cultural resources represents a significant part of the permitting process nationwide.”
