Cardno's new Louisville, KY office opens to support expansion of cultural and natural resources services
Cardno has announced the opening of a new branch office in Louisville, KY, USA.
Located at 10420 Bluegrass Parkway, the office is now open with an expanded staff to provide a full suite of cultural resources, natural resources, and biological resources services.
The office is led by Duane Simpson, who has more than 25 years of experience on a wide variety of archaeological, geomorphological, and geophysical projects. He is a prequalified Principal Investigator in both Prehistoric and Historic Archaeology with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) and has completed numerous transportation projects ranging from Phase I archaeological surveys to Phase III mitigations across the Midwest and Southeastern United States.
The Louisville office supports a wide assortment of clients on various economic development and revitalization projects at the local, state, and federal levels. The Louisville staff are prequalified with KYTC and the Tennessee Department of Transportation in a number of service lines, including:
- Prehistoric and historic archaeological services that include subspecialties in geophysical survey, geomorphological analysis, and photogrammetric documentation.
- Cultural historic documentation
- Forestry management consulting services – restoration, assessment, ecology
- Botany and wetland services
