Cardno shares bridge engineering expertise with international specialists
Cardno is delighted to sponsor the Plenary Session at the Austroads Bridge Conference (ABC) 2017, held at the Pullman Melbourne Albert Park Hotel from 3 to 6 April.
The ABC is the premier bridge conference in Australia and provides a great opportunity for local and international specialists in the field of bridge engineering to share experiences, innovations, achievements and knowledge.
Cardno’s bridges team will have four delegates at the conference promoting our brand and learning from industry partners. The Plenary Session, sponsored by Cardno, will feature keynote speakers Peter Todd, Chief Operating Officer for VicRoads, and Dr Michel Virlogeux, French structural engineer and bridge specialist for major bridges.
This will be the 10th conference held under the support of Austroads which also celebrates the 25th anniversary of the first ABC. This event also provides a great opportunity for sponsors and exhibitors to promote the latest technology, products and services.
Peter Boesch, manager of Cardno’s bridges team, has over 17 years' experience as a Structural Design Engineer. He has studied in Germany and England. Peter worked and graduated in wind engineering. He has worked in Germany and Australia and his experience covers mainly bridge projects with corresponding design of roads and other structures. Additionally, he has experience as a Technical Advisor to lending banks for Public Private Partnership (‘PPP’) Projects. Lately, he worked as Structural Discipline Lead on the Western Distributor tender.
