Cardno proudly supports the Graham Tamblyn USC Engineering Scholarship
The Graham Tamblyn Scholarship in Engineering (Environment and Water) was established personally by Graham ten years ago at the University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) to encourage civil engineering students to pursue a career in environment and water.
Since 2009, the scholarship has been accepted by ten students and has become a prestigious award among the USC engineering fraternity.
Graham credits his engineering career at Cardno for inspiring the scholarship and so he established it to benefit USC engineering students.
One scholarship per year valued at $6,000 will be offered, with the recipient receiving $3,000 per year over a two-year period.
Graham is the National Discipline Leader for our Urban sector based in our Sunshine Coast office, having started at Cardno (then Cardno & Davies) in Queensland in 1973 as a graduate civil engineer.
Graham has held the position of Managing Director and Chairman, and served as a Director for over 28 years.
Graham worked on and directed more than 20 major urban development projects including the prestigious Kawana Waters master planned community, Noosa Waters, Pelican Waters and Twin Waters on the Sunshine Coast.
General Manager of Regional North West Australia, Robbie Marshall congratulates Graham for his significant achievements over the years and thanks him for his dedication and commitment to Cardno as a motivating force around the company.
"Cardno is honoured to support this initiative as a tribute to Graham's esteemed career with Cardno. I believe Graham is a valuable mentor for the Urban Development sector and for Cardno as a whole," he said.
