Cardno is a proud supporter of the UDIA Property Development Program
Cardno is delighted to sponsor the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) Property Development Program, held at Cardno’s Melbourne office from 8 May to 19 June. The six-day program will be delivered one day per week for six weeks and will provide practical and theoretical insight to property development, giving professionals the skills and confidence required to better manage future projects in Victoria’s residential development industry.
Cardno’s Principal, Nick Glasson, will join the panel of presenters in Module 5 “Design and Approval”, sharing the stand with Doug Vallance from Moremac Property Group. Nick will contribute with a presentation on the relationship between consultants and developers in the context of residential property development, addressing themes including the consultants role, typical services provided and processes followed during site feasibility, master planning and detailed design.
UDIA is a nationally recognised body that supports businesses in the urban development industry, focussing primarily on the residential property sector. In Victoria, the UDIA protects and promotes over 50,000 professionals from approximately 350 member companies.
Nick is a Principal at Cardno with over 25 years’ experience in the urban development industry in both design and construction roles. For the past 12 years, Nick has been responsible for Cardno’s land subdivision projects in Victoria. His focus is on feasibility assessments and planning of subdivisional development, however he retains a strong involvement in the daily design and construction management activities of his team in delivering projects. A member of the UDIA’s EnviroDevelopment Assessment Board, Nick has a keen interest in sustainable urban development.
