Cardno ID Wins Business-Enabling Project from USAID/Zambia
USAID/Zambia has awarded Cardno International Development (Cardno ID) a five-year, $14 million program.
The program assists the Government of the Republic of Zambia (GRZ) to strengthen policies that stimulate inclusive rural economic growth and government linkages with the private sector through a particular focus on gender-equity.
While striving to catalyze private finance for agriculture, trade, energy, and eco-tourism/sustainable resource management, the program will emphasize collaboration with civil society organizations and private actors to enhance investment that drives inclusive Zambian-led economic growth.
To deliver this innovative program, Cardno ID’s consortium of local partners works hand-in-hand with ministry-level champions within the newly-elected Government of the Republic of Zambia to develop and implement policies (focused on topics such as Small and Medium Enterprises and Public-Private Partnerships) that catalyze inclusive investment.
