APAC Asset Strategies Institute of Asset Management qualified
Our Asia Pacific asset management capabilities and expertise continue to grow as six staff from our asset strategies team based in Brisbane, Australia extended their knowledge in asset management through qualifications offered by the Institute of Asset Management (IAM).
Supported by an organisation-wide understanding of the importance of continued learning, Dr Christopher Bridge, Paul Cannons, Susan Chamberlain and Dr Colin Kemp all received an IAM Certificate with Aneurin Hughes and Stephen Walker receiving IAM Diplomas with distinction.
The IAM Certificate recognises individual asset management knowledge and understanding and educates on the fundamental principles of asset management while the Diploma – the highest level of qualification awarded by IAM – focuses on the breadth and depth of knowledge understanding along with the application of professional judgement in practice.
Aneurin Hughes, Regional Senior Principal for Asset Management and recipient of the IAM Diploma with distinction, recognises the importance of gaining formal industry qualifications especially through industry bodies like IAM.
“It’s really pleasing that we continue to increase the number of team members with formal asset management qualifications,” Aneurin said.
“It gives our clients confidence and assurance that we are across the latest developments in the field.
“And for the individuals, it's another step in their asset management career and recognition of their development."
