World Water Day is part of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Sustainable Goal 6 aims to ensure availability and sustainable management of water for all by 2030.

Cardno delivers water projects all over the world. We are recognised for our comprehensive knowledge and skills in all aspects and stages of the water cycle, both in the natural and built environment.

Our teams deliver sustainable water solutions to improve the standard of living for the communities in which we live and work.

As part of providing these solutions, our teams are specialists in:

  • water management
  • water infrastructure design services
  • water supply and wastewater treatment
  • hydro-electrical services
  • coastal management
  • surface and groundwater management
  • wetland and water permitting
  • stormwater management
  • surface and groundwater modelling
  • water supply planning

In addition, our International Development teams educate communities on clean drinking water, water hygiene and water harvesting.

Whether it is a detailed water supply or water conservation analysis, a major flooding or water quality investigation, a water rights assessment, or any other water-related engineering, scientific or management issue, Cardno has the expertise needed to make a difference on many water projects.
