Cardno Services for INDOT
Featured Indiana Projects
Cardno performed services for the Indiana Department of Transportation as part of a multi-year project to construct an expanded corridor along I-69. As a subcontractor Cardno has conducted multi-year restoration and site stabilization work at 18 sites, totaling 1,300 acres, along the corridor.
Cardno is assisting the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) in developing a series of conceptual mitigation plans. We’re helping DNR meet the needs of all project stakeholders through tasks such as site screening and site identification and detailed site assessments, including regulated water delineations.
Cardno is supporting the INDOT Environmental Services Office with multiple lines of support for existing mitigation sites. Support services include annual monitoring of wetland and stream mitigation sites, invasive species identification and control, and corrective action development.
Cardno’s environmental team performed a range of services related to both tiers of the Environmental Impact Statement process for a proposed new expressway in Indiana and Illinois. During the Tier 1 EIS process, Cardno participated as a subcontractor in project scoping, public involvement, and completed portions of the “red flag” analysis.
Cardno is conducting mitigation site monitoring and maintenance services for a major highway corridor upgrade project in central Indiana. Our team is assisting INDOT's Environmental Services Office with wetland, stream, and riparian monitoring and associated maintenance.
