Congratulations to winner of Cardno’s Richard Kell Scholarship for 2018

Cardno congratulates Mehdi Zeinali (Mechanical Engineer, Sydney) as winner of the Richard Kell Scholarship for 2018.

As part of the scholarship, Mehdi will participate in the highly regarded International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) Young Professionals Management Training Program. Participants will undertake an intensive management training program based on case studies and discussions of management issues within an international team of participants and mentors. As part of the program he will travel to Berlin to network with key global players in the consulting industry at the FIDIC Conference later this year.

Congratulations also go to Oscar van Paassen (Graduate Engineer, Wellington) as the scholarship’s runner up. Oscar will receive a training bursary to put toward his chosen professional development program – a fantastic opportunity to further his skills and credentials.

Mehdi and Oscar both presented their ideas on how Cardno could implement a development program to facilitate the transfer of technical expertise locally and globally.

The Richard Kell Scholarship acknowledges Cardno’s first Chairman and his contribution to the business. It is just one of four Cardno scholarships open to employees globally.
