Environmental Assessment

Cardno has considerable experience managing the complexities of preparing and delivering environmental impact assessments (EIA) and environmental impact statements (EIS).
We combine a steadfast commitment to science-based analysis, engineering excellence, impact avoidance, and mitigation with comprehensive knowledge of the lead agency’s procedures and permitting requirements. We also manage the stakeholder and general public comments.

As a direct and third-party environmental consultant, we verify compliance with environmental requirements under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).  We review operations to confirm a project’s environmental compliance and consider other sensitive issues that may require environmental protection under the guidelines of U.S. federal agencies, state-level environmental agencies, and World Bank international guidelines.
