Cardno is proud to support International Women's Day on 8 March 2018

On International Women’s Day (IWD) each year, women are recognised for their social, economic, cultural and political achievements. Cardno is proud to support and promote IWD in 2018 and the theme #PressforProgress.

Cardno acknowledges the vital role of women in our business and is committed to gender equality. We strive to provide opportunities for women across the business to advance and grow their careers in a supportive environment.

In 2014, we established an internal gender equality group called Women in Cardno (WiC). We are proud to say, every year this program continues to grow, and we are seeing some excellent progress with the implementation of strategies and initiatives. This term’s Governing Body is working on four key goals:

  1. Gender Pay Gap Analysis
  2. Unconscious Bias
  3. Normalising Flexibility
  4. Networking

Part of Cardno’s vital work is our global endeavour to improve conditions for women in communities around the world. Cardno recognises that gender equality and women’s economic empowerment (WEE) are key drivers of economic growth and hence are a vital focus of the work that we do globally. We support many client programs that integrate gender equality across their activities. The integration of gender in programs is an intrinsic element of our approach – essential for achieving meaningful and lasting impact across all sectors.
