Architecture-Engineering Infrastructure Services Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC)

​Cardno provided a variety of infrastructure-related services to support USAID’s mission of promoting sustainable development globally.

This seven-year program facilitated the provision of engineering design and construction supervision services, including quick response and short- and long-term services in the following infrastructure-related areas:

  • water resources
  • environmental and sanitary engineering
  • civil and industrial engineering
  • structural engineering
  • value engineering
  • industrial or chemical engineering
  • power
  • telecommunications.

Under the contract, Cardno’s areas of lead responsibility were:

  • development economics
  • finance and alternative financing
  • utility finance
  • public-private partnerships
  • tariff setting and structures 
  • cost recovery systems.

Cardno has carried out two task orders under the Architecture-Engineering Infrastructure Services IQC — a water and wastewater project in Jordan, and a road construction supervision project in Liberia, and a housing construction project in Haiti.
