Scott Dotson, PhD, MS, CIH, toxicology and risk assessment expert, joins Cardno ChemRisk’s Cincinnati office


​Cardno is pleased to announce that Dr. Scott Dotson, PhD, MS, CIH, has joined the firm as Managing Health Scientist in the company’s Cincinnati, OH, USA office. With more than 15 years of health sciences experience, Dr. Dotson has a broad background in human health risk assessments, industrial hygiene, and in-depth knowledge of workplace exposures to a wide range of chemicals such as asbestos, organic and inorganic compounds, pesticides, and metals.

Prior to joining Cardno, Dr. Dotson spent over 10 years working at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). His research efforts and responsibilities focused on critically evaluating occupational hazards and developing appropriate guidelines used to establish NIOSH policies, scientific-decision making strategies, and recommendations.

Dr. Dotson is an officer of the American Industrial Hygiene Association Risk Committee and the Society for Risk Analysis Occupational Health and Safety Specialty Section.
