Cardno sponsors the inaugural Australia–Vietnam Young Leadership Dialogue

Cardno sponsors the inaugural Australia–Vietnam Young Leadership Dialogue in Sydney, 15-18 May 2017.

The Australia–Vietnam Young Leadership Dialogue (AVYLD) is an independent, non-profit initiative established to nurture relationships, promote engagement and incubate collaboration between the two countries.

It brings together20 young Australian and Vietnamese leaders, representing a broad spectrum of society for four days of dialogue to facilitate deeper cross-cultural understanding and collaboration through discussions and workshops.

"This first Australia–Vietnam Young Leadership Dialogue brings together inspiring young leaders from both countries,” Thao Nguyen, Board Chair and Co-founder of AVYLD said.

“The delegates are people with a clear vision and a demonstrated capacity to impact their society. We are proud to have created a platform where collaboration and creativity can be nurtured to further the prosperity of both countries.” “We are delighted Cardno is an Associate Partner of the dialogue. The values and objectives of each of our organisations are closely aligned. Given the important development work Cardno does in Vietnam and in the region, we hope that our affiliation can only further contribute to this impact.”

Colin Adams, Cardno’s International Development – Asia Pacific Area Manager, will be part of a panel discussion on ‘Corporate Case Studies – Expanding and Investing Offshore’.

“Cardno is pleased to support and participate in this event,” he said.

“As an Australian company committed to the development of the Asia Pacific region, we understand the importance of the Australia–Vietnamese bilateral relationship. Ultimately, it is people to people contact which drives successful outcomes in business and beyond.  We encourage young leaders from Australian and Vietnamese to build and strengthen this relationship, to shape the future of both countries.”
