Cardno wins second consecutive national export award

For the second consecutive year, professional infrastructure and environmental services firm Cardno has been honoured for its achievements in international business.
The company was presented with the 2014 Business Services award by Trade and Investment Minister Andrew Robb at the 52nd Australian Export Awards in Sydney on November 27.
The award recognises outstanding international success by an Australian company in the professional business services.
The Australian Export Awards is a national program that recognises and honours Australian companies who have achieved sustainable growth through innovation and commitment. Businesses are measured based on the strength of their international growth, marketing and financial strategies.
Cardno also won the Infrastructure and Construction award at the 51st Australian Export Awards in 2013.

Cardno CEO Michael Renshaw accepted the award on the company’s behalf, and said that Cardno has a firm commitment to operational diversity and international expansion.
"We have a strong focus on international business with substantial success in growing our business in the United States, Latin America and in various developing countries.”
“Revenue generated from markets outside Australia now account for more than 68% of annual revenue” he said.

“It is an honour to be recognised with this award, and it is testament to the dedication and commitment of our more than 8,200-strong team, both here in Australia and in the 100+ countries in which we work.”
Cardno’s international projects range from major highway projects in the US, global gender equality and women’s empowerment projects, improving rural road access in Tanzania and hydro-electric power generation in Ecuador.

Services encompass planning, surveying, engineering and environmental services, as well as project management of development assistance programs internationally.
