The majority of Cardno projects are multi-disciplinary, involving our engineering, surveying, design and planning staff at one stage or another. Examples of these types of projects can generally be found under the Land Planning heading which includes our large scale subdivision development projects. Such projects include earthworks design and management, the layout and provision of services (water, wastewater and stormwater) as well as roading design and layout.
Where projects have a more specific focus they will be found under the Surveying or Engineering headings. For example, our engineers are assisting local authorities in the upgrade of stormwater channels and other drainage reticulation problems. Our surveyors are undertaking quantity survey and setting out work for new construction projects, including the new Wellington Hospital.
Projects managed by our team of planners include a range of activities requiring resource consents and are covered under the Resource Management heading. These include rural dwellings, commercial activities, childcare centres, and signage to name a few.
