How did you come to work for the XP Software (part of the Cardno group)?
Previous software sales experience brought me to work for XP Software.

What did you know about XP Software before you started?
I researched the company and its market online. The unique and focused niche of the product line and its established position in the market was obvious from the start.

What is your role at XP Software?
I am the Senior Account Manager in our sales department but I tend to wear many hats in my role.

How long have you been with XP Software?
10 years.

Describe a typical day at XP Software.
85% of my day is spent in correspondence with current and prospective clients, fielding questions regarding the software, pricing, and upcoming training opportunities. My time is also spent sourcing new leads and generating sales oriented materials.

What is the most enjoyable aspect of your job?
Having confidence in the product I sell. Working with engineers is also a surprisingly enjoyable element of my job they are an almost ideal customer base. I enjoy learning about the variety of applications our software is used for.

What projects have you worked on?
Our office is more sales related than project related, although one of my great successes was working to secure Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) approval for our xpswmm and xpstorm programs. I am now collaborating with our technical staff working to secure FEMA approval for our new 2D module.

What makes XP Software a great place to work?
The people, the product, the opportunities and of course champagne celebrations when we achieve our sales budgets.

What does XP Software offer you that other companies don’t?
Independence and the opportunity to grow as the company expands.

What does the future at XP Software hold for you?
Only good things I am sure! With more responsibility comes greater opportunity. I would like to take on a greater role in shaping the XP Software of tomorrow.
